Complaints procedure for Global Aktion

In cases where there is a suspicion of a breach of the Global Aktion Code and Conduct or odder guidelines, by employees or activists from Global Aktion, it is possible to make a complain about this in writing:

This complaint mechanism is based solely on suspected violations of our Code of Conduct.

Anonymous complaints are not processed.

Complaints are sent to the Board of Global Aktion.

When your letter of complaint has been received, you will receive an email explaining the procedure and handling of your complaint.

When the Board receives a complaint, it will set up a group to investigate the complaint further. The group will involve all relevant people in their investigation.

They will therefore also contact you to clarify any possible questions.

In the complaint letter you must write:

  1. Who is being complained about and why.
  2. Write when you have experienced that there is behavior from an employee or activist that gives reason for the complaint.
  3. If there is some form of proof – e.g. in the form of an email – please send this.
  4. Please write what you want to achieve with your complaint.
  5. Write your name and contact information.

 

Your complaint should be sent to info@globalaktion.dk

You can expect that it may take up to 2 months before there is a clarification on your complaint.

It is the Board of Global Aktion that will, based on recommendations from the established group, inquire whether there is reason to act and if so, how. 

A written explanation of the case and decision will be sent to the involved partners.

If a complaint concerns criminal matters, abuse or corruption, you must follow our guidance on this.
