Anti-terrorism policy and guidelines

“Global Aktion does not work with individuals or organizations who have or wish to use violence or terror. Being it politically, economically or otherwise. Global Aktion follows the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UN’s terrorist list.”

As written in the Global Aktions Statues, do Global Aktion works “on a non-violent and democratic fundation.”

Produced with suspicion that a partner of Global Aktion supports or uses violence and terror;

• In case of suspicion, the partner is contacted to obtain clarification as to whether the suspicion is justified.
• The Global Aktion Secretariat is contacted, and together with the working group, a dialogue is initiated with the partner.
• Until a clarification is made, all financial transfers to the partner are stopped.
• The relevant donor is contacted and informed.
• If the suspicion is justified, the partnership is stopped immediately.
• In connection with the screening of new partners, this screening also includes the use of violence and terror.
